What are we to do?

My husband and I are trying to take out a personal loan to finish paying off hospital bills, but because of his credit score (under 600) we have not been able to be approved for a loan. We tried payday loans but that is a web or expense we do not want to revisit. If anyone has any ideas on what we can do, or where we can go please let me know. Thanks in advance.

What are we to do?

Since they are medical bills, you may be able to negotiate a payment plan thru the hospital. Put a request in writing and mail it certified to them. They worked with us when my father had a brain injury.

Also, some places may approve a loan in your name only if you have the income and the score.

What are we to do?

Do you own your own home? A refinance or an equity loan could assist you in easing the burden of these expenses. As you are going to have to pay them regardless this is a very legitimate reason for considering a refinance.

If you do not own your own home try sending out a few applications online to see what options are available to you.

Never use payday loans. That is the worst idea ever, and besides the super high interest fees they are responsible for burying people in a never ending debt trap (read online about them)! Can you ask the loan dept for an extension? perhaps after you explain your situation? How about family members, sometimes they can help you out by paying a few months of min payments while you/both work overtime or find a job/2nd job??

Why not solve the problem by repairing your credit? Usually companies charge hundreds of dollars to simply pull your credit and send correctly worded dispute letters閳ユ敄his is the key閳?.people will tell you that you can do this yourself for free but the truth of the matter is that the credit bureaus will throw your letters away or simply reject them. There is an easy to use online kit that will deliver the results you want available for just $19.95 at the source website. A similar kit is being sold via infomercials and radio talk shows for seventy dollars more but they try to solicit you repeatedly for other services after the fact.
