Small Personal Non Payday Loan?

Hello, I need a small ($2000) loan, make payments every month on it starting in April, would be able to pay it all off within 1 year. I have bad credit so my options are limited, I only need the loan to catch up on some bills till my finacee starts working again (he was in a car accident 2 months ago and broke 2 of his fingers, he starts working again in March.). Anyone know of any private lenders or companies that may be able to help me? Thanks

Stay away from payday loan places. They are legal loansharks. 2k is not alot. Do you need it all at once?I wouldnot be trying to borrow more cash when I was already completely broke. I would just take a second job and let your creditors know what's going on. If you tell them when you can pay them and how much, most will cut you a break. Your fiance will be working in a couple of months so this bump should last too long.

i hate to hear about your situation but i dont think a loan company will give you a loan for that amount if you have bad credit, best bet is to go to a small individual loan office. They usually just loan you a 100 to start with then you have to work your way up.

Or ask family, friends see how much they will let you borrow.

You can try leading tree. They have loan companies for most credit situations. If you have a car that you own outright, you can borrow against that also. Some banks are more willing to loan you money if you have some sort of collateral.

You're probably not going to like my answer.

I don't think you need a loan. You need a way to increase your income for 2 months (or more). I would recommend you find a second job, or an additional source of income. It will not be fun, but it will help you get your bills paid and will keep you afloat until he goes back to work.

Also - you may want to try to sell some things. Have a garage sale or sell some things on eBay or craigslist.

A private lender may be the way to go, but DON'T use one strictly via internet, like the ones replying to your question. Find a REPUTABLE lender, preferably with an actual address and website, not just a lame yahoo or hotmail account. The stories and references given by these spammers are a joke. Just for fun I replied to a couple, to see their terms. They are almost exclusively operating out of Nigeria, even though the first think they tell you is that %26quot;I is a citizen of the United States OF America%26quot;. They all require a big chunk of money UP FRONT. No legitimate lender will require upfront money. BE CAREFUL. (Still like the idea above about getting a temporary second job better than a loan).
