I have a payday loan. The lender has been calling my cousins. Is that legal?

By law, they can contact your cousins to locate you. They can't discuss information regarding your account. They can't tell your cousins that you owe cash, how much you owe, that they are going to sue you etc. All they can do is ask for informationrmation about you, and ask that they pass on a message to you to call the lender.

I've bookmarked this site to go back to...

All the best to you.

Yes it is since you have gave them his or her # out to them, They don't ask for those #'s for no reason. If they can't contact you they got the rights to contact your relatives to try and find you so they can get some kind of answer about your past account so this matter can be resolved.
